How do I create a new goal?
Open Motavi and tap the "+" button on the home screen. Give your goal a name, choose a target type (habit, milestone, or countdown), and set your desired frequency or deadline. Tap "Create" to save it. Your goal will appear on the home screen immediately.
How do I edit or delete a goal?
Tap the goal you want to modify to open its detail view. Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) in the top-right corner and select "Edit" to change any details, or "Delete" to permanently remove the goal and all associated progress data. Deleted goals cannot be recovered.
Can I reorder my goals on the home screen?
Yes. On the home screen, press and hold any goal card until it lifts, then drag it to the position you prefer. Release to drop it in place. The new order is saved automatically.
How do I mark progress on a goal?
Tap the check or progress indicator on a goal card directly from the home screen, or open the goal detail view and tap "Log Progress." For habits, a single tap marks it complete for today. For milestone-type goals, you can enter a specific numeric value.
How do I manage or cancel my Motavi subscription?
Subscriptions are managed entirely through Apple App Store or Google Play — not through Motavi directly. On iOS: open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, find Motavi, and tap "Cancel Subscription." On Android: open Google Play → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, then select Motavi. Changes take effect at the end of the current billing period.
I was charged but my Premium features are not unlocked.
This can happen if the purchase did not sync correctly. Open Motavi, go to Settings → Subscription, and tap "Restore Purchases." This re-validates your entitlement with the App Store or Google Play. If the issue persists after restoring, contact us at minndevstd@gmail.com with your order receipt so we can investigate.
Does Motavi offer a free trial?
Yes — Motavi offers a free trial period for new subscribers. The trial length is displayed on the subscription screen before you confirm. You will not be charged until the trial ends. You can cancel at any time during the trial at no cost.
Can I transfer my subscription to a different device?
Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID or Google account, not a specific device. Sign in with the same account on your new device and tap "Restore Purchases" in Settings → Subscription to unlock your entitlements automatically.
How do I reset my password?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. You'll receive a password-reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive. The link expires after 24 hours — request a new one if needed.
I can't log in to my account.
First, confirm you are using the correct email address. Try "Forgot password?" to reset your credentials. If you signed up with "Sign in with Apple" or "Sign in with Google," use the same provider — these accounts do not have a separate password. If you still cannot access your account, email minndevstd@gmail.com with the email address you registered with.
How do I change my email address?
Go to Settings → Account in the app and tap "Change Email." Enter your new address and confirm the change via the verification link sent to the new email. If your account was created with Sign in with Apple or Google, the email is managed by that provider and cannot be changed within Motavi.
What data does Motavi collect?
Motavi collects the data you provide (goal names, progress logs, account email) and standard analytics used to diagnose crashes and improve the app. We do not sell your personal data. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Is my data synced across devices?
Yes. When you are signed in, your goals and progress are synced to our servers and available on all devices where you are logged in to the same account. Sync happens automatically in the background.
How do I export my data?
To request a copy of your data, email minndevstd@gmail.com from the address associated with your account. We will prepare and send you a data export within 30 days, in accordance with applicable privacy regulations.
How do I delete my account and all my data?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the app. Confirm the deletion when prompted. This permanently removes your account, all goals, progress history, and personal data from our servers. This action cannot be undone. Your subscription (if active) must be cancelled separately through the App Store or Google Play — deleting your account does not cancel billing.
I deleted the app. Is my data still stored?
Uninstalling the app does not delete your account or server-side data. Your information remains on our servers until you explicitly delete your account (see above) or submit a deletion request to minndevstd@gmail.com.
